Hi Ann, this is an entry for the Deluded Custodians December Writing Challenge. Smiling.

Novemder 2030.

Dear Mr. Santa, I hope you are okay because mom mom tells me it’s hotter than a turkey in a toaster. She says the weather went crazy and you got a terrible sunburn. But it’s okay. Ask Mrs. Claus to put some special lotion? Mom mom says it’s the best one for itches and ouchies.

I can’t write good yet, they didn’t get the thing with the wires for my head. So I can’t use the smart toys poppy brought me. And I still have to tell the story pod what to do. But it knows me so I can watch cartoons. I’m glad it talks to me because I asked it to help me to write this letter.

I hope you get it because I like you. I like how you are so happy and smiley. You make me feel like fambly and that’s okay.

Poppy says I should write a list for the things I want for Christmas. So I thought and thought and thought. I have lots of things I could put on my list.

I could ask for a Tech Teddy that knows all the words. Poppy says it can teach me Chinese! Then there’s the big glasses. Mom mom says I can play with friends from all over the world if I wear…
