Do People Today Live Better than the Kings of Old?

Or are we simply ungrateful?

Somewhere in my comments section this past week, I was advised to be grateful. I was told we all live like Kings and that if I’d lived 100 years ago, I’d probably be someone’s slave. I mean, ouch. Major burn.
